What a beautiful mommy-to-be! She had a perfect little tummy, hopefully housing little Olivia for another couple weeks!!

I had a great time at Memorial Park yesterday. It wasn’t too cold, the sun was making it’s way down for the night (giving us some beautiful golden tones!), and a sweet family was more than happy to have their photos taken… thus producing some fantastic family pictures!

What a perfect location for Christmas pictures!  It’s obvious these kiddos have a fun time together… and the boys did great at cheering up their little cousin when she needed it! They were so fun to watch. Makes me wish we lived closer to our families!

Since our last photo session Mia has learned to walk. Her curiosity is so cute, as everything in the world is new and exciting in her eyes. Our plan was to do all of the photos indoors with it being so cold, but we did eventually go outside where she could run around, and I could get my exercise following her.  

And I had to add this in- it pretty much summed up her mom’s role that afternoon.

Great locations, perfect weather, and the sun was in an AMAZing spot!  Karen had a couple locations in mind for our photo shoot yesterday and they were perfect! We first met at a local laundromat, where we pretty much had free range to do whatever we wanted. (The guy working there was sooo nice!) Then we went to Centennial Park- and even though most of the leaves had fallen, it was a beautiful place to finish off our session. I love her style and she was so easy to photograph. Thanks for a great afternoon of photography, Karen!

By the smile on her face you’d never know it was in the mid 40′s that day! Brr! I had my winter jacket on and was still chilly! (Apparently my west-coast blood still hasn’t converted to the Midwest’s fall and winter air)
Either way, we had a blast! I have known Dana since she was in the 8th grade…and although she is officially a Senior this year, I still get to have her around for another few months until she graduates next Summer, lucky for me! Thanks for letting me take these for you, Dana!

What a funny girl! From her cute expressions to squeals as she stood up, little Mia kept us entertained.
As you can see, I posted quite a few from our session today. Like I told her mom, there is no way I can narrow these down! Any comments as to your favorites would be helpful!

Taxi!

From sitting, to crawling, to cruising…this little one kept me on the go! What a sweetie though – we had a great time at Lake Katherine as the leaves have now turned to beautiful shades indicating fall is here!

And my cute little guy, playing in the leaves…

These two have become good friends of ours, so it was especially fun to grab some photos of their wedding shower. Congrats you two!
